Receiver Reviews 2008 Very Helpful.
I know the blog is slow, but I welcome the opportunity to tell the weekend in Berlin!
First we recall the facts, 9 July 2006, Zidane scored a penalty (nonexistent) to which Materazzi replied the head. Wanting to replicate our French defender with the same part of the body struck the sternum of Marco Materazzi making drive away ... Materazzi then said the playmaker and scored his penalty in the final lottery that saw us become World Champion!!
And let anc now, since for almost 3 years we can be proud!
course, my stay in Germany could not leave out one stage in the German capital to take a picture with lots of flag in front Olympic Stadium!
detail is not insignificant, the flag has the same scope in triumph on the evening of July 9th through the streets of downtown, and came with me in Toulouse. On the other hand, on French soil and on German soil, he could certainly miss ...
But other than that, I really want to tell you something just spent the weekend in Berlin, a city truly wonderful and fascinating!
I will not describe everything I saw, it would require way too many pages, but my description above would be extremely simplistic. Rather to tell what most impressed me, but I especially huge advertising a tourist service!
This is the New Europe Tours and is mainly thanks to them that we were able to enjoy a tour of the city incredibly comprehensive, which has made us familiar places and stories that otherwise we could never find in a normal visit, and especially with less than 3 days left!
I recommend it really, if you were to happen in one of Europe's covered, so enjoy!
The site tour is http://www.neweuropetours.eu .
Are you wondering what all this publicity ... I go in order.
Friday: Hostel, Reichstag e. .. Pub Crawling! First
do another little publicity in the hostel where we were, we were in 4 (I, Cosimo, Sandro and Vincent), we were at the Generator Hostel, which also is a chain ... Well, in Berlin, private room for 4 for 17 euro per person with breakfast (buffet), sheets and towels is truly a bargain!
fact is that we find in the hostel of the leaflets of the same agency and we see the various initiatives.
We remain primarily affected by what we could use the next day: A WALKING TOUR OF THE CITY '... FREE!
Sights covered virtually all ...! But I'll describe the best on Saturday because on Friday evening as we find the initiative Pub Crawling!
Having no idea what to do in the evening we decided to exploit it. In the afternoon (we arrived in Berlin around one) take a ride to the Reichstag (the great dome of Foster, I hope the pictures make the idea) and of course the Brandenburg Gate .... yes, that 50 cents of German , 'gnoranti ...
The most striking thing of going around the city is really like you can still breathe the air of the huge events that have characterized. In addition to the destruction of war, even most was a city marked by division into two, by the disturbing presence of the wall that divided for so many years has kept friends and family, who was almost killed with his bare hands, but you still remember. Not only with the pieces that have remained, but also the location of the two walls through the city ... Did you know that it was not just one, right? Actually I do not, I found out there: there was the wall of the east, the west (far less guarded, of course, the East welcomed them with open arms!) And in the midst of the "death zone" , where anyone who had been found would have made a bad end ...
But switching to more cheerful things, the pub crawl! In reality maybe not a big deal from an economic standpoint, but certainly a good way to make a turn in different places of the city with a sea of people ... yes, because the group that, starting from our hostel was done by a score of people, having joined with other hostels and as the evening progressed it has become a bunch of people ... It cost the beauty of € 12, you had some discount places where we were going (but still had to pay you to drink more than they give you a few more shots), but above all, a huge Russian big man (which of course was called Sasha) turned the whole night with bottles of vodka and orange (I should say vodka and orange) and you follow with your short you had to let you fill plastic walking through a room and the other ...
coolest place of the evening: the Zapata! An old community center now become a standard, set in a ruined building, with a large open area that served as a bar. I could not turn around because they are already just to find the bathroom I did some laps absurd, consider that you could go within two wings of a 5-6 storey high building ... I have been told that is also open 24 hours on 24! In addition to a pub is also a cultural center, Berlin, however, if you happen to let us jump, I really recommend it!
Saturday: Free Tour, Potsdammer Platz and Brewery!
We come to the question that all of you are probably asking ... free tour ... where's the package?? No pack, really, the guides are young and through this association offer a walking tour of about 4 hours. Free, yes, in the end only ask participants to leave a tip.
A method really works and innovative, the tour is open to all budgets, the leadership is committed to give our best, is an informal guide, which is ideal because it makes you see the main attractions of the city (outside course) season with so many details and interesting divertyenti a guide will tell you or you would hardly see. For example, tell some dialog Hildenburg when Hitler took power, you see a building with no meaning, but still marked by the bullets of the war, especially civil wars during the post-war Soviet occupation ... and not least the story of how the wall has fallen for error ... ! Incredible how he managed to mix humor and funny stories with moments of seriousness and concentration, as when talking about concentration camps or when we were in the middle of the monument in memory of the Holocaust.
indiscriviblie In the latter is really the feeling of bewilderment and confusion that can be felt through, good work for me.
Another funny anecdote: the TV tower is called also "The Pope's Revenge", because it was built at the beginning of the Cold War by a guy I can not remember the name, but that would also remove all the crosses from the churches, to highlight their opposition to the power of the Church, what that the people did not like so much ... Ironically, something noticed by his son, given the shape and material, when the sun shines on the ball is in the middle of the tower, you see exactly the shape of a cross! (What skillfully photographed by myself ... Reuters, I'm coming ...).
Without such a guide would also be very difficult to know to be standing exactly where he was once Hitler's bunker, the same where he committed suicide and of which no trace now remains.
Our guide was Australian, in fact even the other guides we saw were of other nationalities, Berlin is truly a multi-ethnic city that attracts young people from all over the world! And anyway, surely it was definitely the best tour I have ever done, in addition to 5 euro better spent for the whole trip! On the site tour is also our photos: look between those of 15 September, try to find me!
The afternoon was spent in the area of Potsdammer Platz, really nice! Too bad he only drank in the building because the Renzo Piano from our worst tea that I have ever ... Fascinating also campaninle of the old cathedral, left half-destroyed by bombing, the destruction of sin for a modern church built next to us ...
But let the evening: guided by past experience Sandro, we went in search of a pub where he had been years ago, which served beer from their own dishes.
After some difficulty we found a really good eaten! Accompanied by an excellent beer Weizen. We also took advantage of the "Beer Tasting", four different types of beer to taste: we could not miss!
Unfortunately it was not even miss the test of "Berliner Spezialität ... When the French Protestants were expelled and fled to Berlin, did not like the taste of beer and decided to modify it by adding syrups, creating two versions, one red and one green, and that is the specialty of Berlin ...
Now, to say which of the two was not as bad it's really hard, a sweet and hardly drinkable stuff ... Of course all our insults have gone at Vincent's, had to admit that the crap produced by the ancestors of his fellow countrymen and tried to disclaim any responsibility ...
to wash his mouth, unfortunately we were forced to Berci un'alra weizen ...
Sunday: Sachsausen
guide the day before so we liked to have made us decide to invest € 12 for the next day for a guided visit to Sachshausen, or the first concentration camp, just outside Berlin.
Yes, because obviously the same agency organizes tour fee, visit the camp itself is very interesting presentation, the guide also told us that she was to do it Sunday ...
So without even thinking about it we decided to make the visit: Sunday morning we first made a little around our affairs (including with photos in front of the stage, thanks to Vincent for agreed to take us even though the car was his and the photo of us, extremely sporting gesture because he is French ...) and then we went straight into the car and with the suitcases in Sachshausen meeting right there and the leadership group.
Among all the pictures, you will not find those of a visit to the camp ... I have not only published, in fact I have not even made a ... This is not to neglect the fact is that before a structure so I did not feel his son to photograph those places. Not that I want to criticize those who made them, mind you, but as has already happened to me visiting Mathausen, discomfort and disgust for what humanity has been (and still is) able to do kept me from pulling the car out and bring back the kind of memories. Some things I keep inside me beyond the pictures and I really can assure you that the image of a crematorium is well imprinted in my mind for quite a while '...
Despite these feelings, I highly recommend to those who have the opportunity to visit a concentration camp to exploit it, feelings are indescribable, you have to be there to really understand what might have happened ...
now will not write more on the topic, the purpose of my blog is to tell funny episodes, curious, etc. ... I have absolutely no attempts to impose the ideas of any kind to anyone not want to sadden darkening or telling anyone my ...
I'll be back in Berlin?
The answer is obvious: Absolutely '! Not only because the city I enjoyed very much ... but also because it is a city in constant evolution, changing!
Some examples? Next to the cathedral until the end of the war was the royal palace, then almost destroyed by bombing, the Russians decided to demolish it and build a huge tower block cubic and horrible, all covered with a hideous bronze. Now this same building are the dismantling, piece by piece, what will be built in its place? There are those who would rebuild the old royal palace, who make a simple park ... for sure when (and if) I'll come back that building such a large and imposing in an area so important there will be no more.
It 's amazing to see how many there are areas in the heart of the city yet to be arranged or starting a new building .... The same momunmento in memory of the Holocaust has been opened only in 2005!
So definitely I'll come back, and even more so I really think that I will turn to the same guide service! Also because I'm sure redoing discover many other interesting things about the city, its history and its evolution!
Well, thanks for having read so far, I hope I have communicated a bit 'of my enthusiasm tried on this visit ...
and every now and let me a comment when you read! Do not be shy!
Tschüs!

Home Audio Receivers Nice And Easy
Hello everyone!
So, how are you? I know, I know, it was a life that does not update the blog ... now I will try to aged a bit 'of excuses for my shortcomings, you pretend to believe it ... First
for almost two weeks Barbara has come to Bremen and obviously do not spend your free time to write the blog ... Second home can no longer to have an internet connection, and write it all off-line and then send "deferred" makes me spend some 'stimulus ...
In reality we never had it, but until August 20 to 25 stuck a wireless network without security, which we all happily took advantage ... now the guy that owns or has made smart, or just stopped work ... boh ...
But we come to tell if all stoned as usual you should take a whole afternoon to be in the full, then I will a great synthesis of two trips, telling you something when Barbara was here and we went on a trip to Hamburg and Schwerin (that was his gift for my birthday) and I made the trip with my classmates ... in Bremerhaven And so the thing is already pretty long, so get ready and make yourself comfortable ...
Schwerin and Hamburg
Are you wondering what and where is ... first of Schwerin were definitely wrong pronunciation, should be read with the "sh" as in "ski", w reads like our "v" and the accent is on the last syllable ... "Scverìn", in other words ....
Apart from this digression on the etymology worries, the bulk of the description of this town you have just by looking at the photos. It 's a city east of Hamburg, a feature especially for the huge lake on which it overlooks, called it Schwerinersee ("the sea of Schwerin," Okay, this was easy ...).
The city is still very nice, some things have been rebuilt after the bombing, there is a so-called "castle" on a small island on the lake. We visited, fortunately the visit was cheap (if I remember correctly about 2.50 for us poor students ...) because the inside is not that it was so exciting. All covered in wood, but virtually all of the decorations instead of being carved and painted stucco were the colors of the wood ... and the great thing is that you also put to say, almost boasting that they were fillers ....
floors are beautiful, majestic single room, with a lot of marble (Carrara, of course) ... Much more interesting however the gardens around the castle and those on the other side (connected by bridge to the castle), I will not describe them much, because they speak far better photos ...
instead strongly advise against moving to Schwerin on a Friday night, we were desperately looking for a bit 'of life, but there was really nothing for them ... I hope that the Sabbath is different, or that life and from all 'else and we have not gone ... But we have folded up a brewery that made beer (own production) really good, and obviously the pitcher is done to enrich my collection ... :)
not recommend even more to take the cruises on the lake! We did Saturday morning e. .. that sucks! Thank goodness we did the shorter (and cheaper). Loved the trip in nature, for goodness sake ... but an hour and a half of water and green banks ... besides the fact that he also began to do cold, cold of course the Germans faced, smiling in a short sleeved polo ...
We must say that we ate very well, a lot less money than we spent in Italy, also the hotel was fantastic ... even if Barbara would have something to say if I had to go back, not for the hotel in itself, but for those who work there ...
different story, however, Hamburg!
As you arrive by train (Saturday afternoon) along the pedestrian shopping street and we are literally overwhelmed by a wave of people running through the streets of chickens and we feel for not having run away from the first Schwerin (instead of making that trip up ,,,).
We head to the hotel and travel on foot facendocela we realize that our guide on the map of Hamburg has a slightly different scale from that of Schwerin ... Apart from the long walk, we also have the unpleasant surprise of finding ourselves with a double bed instead of a ... As compensation we just get breakfast for the next morning, a few things ...
good thing to have found the shops: I bought the sneakers! To many it will seem insignificant, but those who practice my sport knows how to find a break in Turin and above what they cost here ... I made up some good nike at 50 €! Really cool, it was also the last surviving number ...
Apart from that shopping, I will devote my description to the thing that struck me when visiting Hamburg: The Cathedral of St. Nikolai ... or at least what remains of it. The bell
blackened by fire, in fact, is the only part left standing after the bombings of World War II. E 'was in fact decided not to rebuild the church and leave it in memory of the destruction caused by war and as a monument in honor of peace ... What can I say, being there really is a feeling difficult to describe and I will not even try to do here on a blog ... I'm just finding that there was almost forced to sit for a moment and reflect on what might have been found there in those moments ...
One thing that has miraculously remained intact despite the bombing is the Rathaus (which was then the town hall, this was harder ...), a very imposing building, very nice inside. Should you go to Hamburg, I recommend you to visit Wizard (in Inglese, of course ...), it's worth it!
fun to tell: Saturday we had already noticed the fact preparing to put hurdles in the street and the gazebo in the center was dedicated to cycling, then we realized that there was something like our stratorino, however, made the whole bike, which would not have seen much absurd as there is Are you a cyclist. Sunday the city are blocked with traffic all day and go see different groups of cyclists, apparently divided into the categories, from true amateurs and reaching people who seemed fit enough ... Going forward all day thing and given the discomfort every time he had to cross a street, Barbara and I often we get down to comments like: "But still? But how many they go? "," Stop, but the end 'sti Sunday cyclists? "and the like ... Passing the finish line we also joked: "Should we stop? We look forward to cheer a few sprints to get that 200th Big Belly? ".
Only in the late afternoon, watching a giant screen that projected images of the race, we realized that at that time was the same route path by professionals ... and we have seen more on the projector's arrival, with our Ballan who crossed the finish line, with Bettini finished fourth (I think) ... yes, that same goal in front of which we had passed the first quarter of an hour when there were few people and when we said our beautiful lines above ...
's return to Bremen, I discovered that this victory was of course on the first page of the Gazette on-line ... and what we saw was the preparation for the race (I can not remember the name) but is a classic of cycling, like our Milano-Sanremo, but concentrated on Hamburg ...
I hope that no lover of cycling are reading these lines, otherwise authorizes him to come here and fill the rod ....
Come on, I'll be brief here, I swear, Bremerhaven is a city founded as a port for Bremen in the late nineteenth century. Indeed Bremen had the port on the River, the Weser, but given its progressive silting have had to build one directly on the North Sea, around which is just sort Bremerhaven.
This port was one of the main places of emigration from the late nineteenth to mid twentieth century, especially to America. We then went to see a museum dedicated to the history of emigration, very interesting!
Every visitor is assigned a character, which are discovered during the visit of life, the reason for the trip, etc ... I was lucky enough to hit one, that Erich Koch-Weser, German politician who had to emigrate with the rise to power of the Nazis and ended up in Brazil where he founded a small German colony, I say lucky because he was rich enough to afford the first class. The visit represented a variety of situations typical of travel by boat from that period ... Eventually you discover something on the descendants of your character and you can also trace the travels of relatives who emigrated to America, not only from Germany! In fact a friend of mine was able to print a copy of your boarding pass of his grandfather left for America from Naples in the first half of the twentieth century!
last part of the visit, a marine zoo ... I am profoundly opposed to the zoo, I'm sorry to see the animals in habitats too small ... In fact I was very torn between my hatred the zoo and my love for animals ... In the end curiosity won him the second part of me, so I had the opportunity to see a polar bear in particular (no, not had puppies, Knut is only in Berlin ...), complete with the seal pup, a family of raccoons (too cool, I want one!) and two cougars, among other things, a baby does not know what animal (maybe a wolf, or perhaps Fox, boh ...) who enjoyed bite your finger through the grille ... Maybe he wanted to eat, but still having small teeth was so cute ...
On a flight to Turin
Well, I think I was too wordy but I hope not too boring ... I am writing these lines on the plane that is taking me to Monaco, where they take another one to come to Turin! Yes, I am a weekend in Turin, but I think a bit 'all those who read it already know and then come back Sunday night in the cold Germany ...
last sentence on the return flight from Torino (Turin-Frankfurt): put it all online Monday morning, these days in Turin I had the whole 'being willing to stay on the internet ...
soon I'll tell you some anecdotes about Bremen, fantastic on my athletic training, our experience of "MosquitoBusters" and other fun stuff ...
Stay Tuned!
