Cs 1.6 Komendy Adma Review

In the land of windmills: Groningen!

I'm back, finally I can write 2 lines in the area!
I'm here in Bremen, where I met Barbara on Thursday!

Since several days have passed, and especially since I do not have much time to write, here is a very brief description of Groningen and its surroundings.

Groningen
arrive in Groningen in the late afternoon, travel along the highway because of an accident and weird deviations. Let us now hotels / hostels / B & B that can accommodate, as arranged by good tourists we organized the trip on Saturday morning ... Besides me, there are Stewart, Sandro, C., Daniele and his girlfriend, Irene.

After verifying an address found on the internet (closed) thanks to the tourist spot (which closes after a minute) we find a series of addresses and then we 4 "unaccompanied" we can find a closet for 4 at a reasonable price.

The city is really nice and especially very much alive! So many people around, even in the evening till late! The pattern is always the Dutch, who had been in Amsterdam for the comparison is a must, bridges over the canals that are raised (though not ever see them at work), boat houses (boats that are real homes) and of course the famous coffee shop and also via the red light ...

The last two points above I am a bit 'more disappointing than the capital. I mean, the "goods" is the same, but everything is much less distinctive for those not directly affected ... The red light is off a lane exclusively with the girlie in the window (while you were in Amsterdam in front of the butcher ...) and coffee shops have a lot less atmosphere.

Beyond these points, however I said that I really liked the city. On Saturday night it was great fun, we are constantly moved from one room to another, being not more than 15-30 minutes in each place. This is a lot to see, either because they were all crowded at one point there was no air ... The lying thing was done even the locals, so it was not lack of habit ...

The quiet "after" the storm
After all the vitality of the Saturday afternoon and Saturday morning, the awakening was quite traumatic. All cities on Sundays are quieter, especially on Sunday morning, but the show that we found ourselves in front of Groningen was amazing. Completely closed (except for a couple of bars) and the streets completely empty, and so remained until about 14.00.

Not that at that time and changed something, but we just went away. The purpose of the trip at this point, it has become to see the North Sea!

The Sea North (Delfziji) and then I will be very short Winschoten
about ... a disappointment. Will that
Delfziji is also a major port, but the beach was sad, murky water and the shore was a stretch of algae ... all of us put a little 'sad and then after puccia feet and received the blessing by Daniel (see photo), we made a stop in a town called Winschoten who was on the way back. Here, too, desolation

incredible, no one around, just a couple of places open to eat and drink something. Time, then a lunch in a kind of fast food kebab-based course in which they put us half an hour to take us to eat (the face of the fast) and then off to home, where We waited a strenuante laundry to the laundromat ....

And that's all for now.

Tschus!

Bremen: it starts!

Guten Tag!

So, how are you?? You missed me, right? Here I am in Bremen! How come I only write now? I will explain in "The House", below ...

So where to start ... Let's go in chronological order ...

The trip

Alarm Saturday morning, at 5.00 (you read right), train at 6.15 from Porta Susa and finish at 9.45 in Verona in the company of Alex F. From the train shuttle that takes us and long wait at the airport for the Ryanair flight that would take us to Bremen. These two weeks of "vacation" I'm really blown away ...

There, as expected, even goats and Stewart first surprise came at check-in, where I discover that the balance of my house has cheated and is 2 kg over the limit ... I mean, not me, my suitcase ... Obviously I'm very strict on the thing and then I have to pay 16 euro extra return ... I'll be able to arrange better!

However, with the plane that leaves half an hour late, we arrive in Bremen. We head straight to the tourist office to understand something about public transport already there and there comes the first blow, the single ticket costs € 2.10! And so we continue up to today, where we'll have a monthly subscription, which luckily it only cost 30 ... However, after half an hour we arrived at our house, which is located in the district Gröpelingen, moderate peripheral ... We'll find out later that the same neighborhood is called by locals "Turkey 2," but we say that the thing we know it just got off the tram, because the German people from the lines there is not even the shadow ...

The House That

in these terms The area might seem unsavory ... not really is absolutely the case, here the integration really works. Although we are in an area where immigration is dominant (we also have a house behind the mosque), the area is very quiet, there are many beautiful houses, people have faces lying and I must say that so far we are pretty good here. In most stores the Turks here are famous for fruits and vegetables of excellent quality at low prices.

We have 3 apartments in the house, one on each floor, the apartments are for 3 people and I am with Cosimo and Sandro. The surprise, at the entrance, it was discovered that the three rooms are doubles, however, and all equipped with two beds and large enough. So the ability to host there, and if someone wants to visit me, do you hear! The house is right in each case for 3, the kitchen is small, the bathroom and only one (divided in 2, toilet and shower in one room in the other). The biggest mess (besides the lack of washing machine) is the lack of an internet connection, so the only chance I have to connect and university days, or go to an internet cafe ... here today only because I can update your blog. In addition, it has inevitable repercussions on the costs of telephone calls to Italy ....

The city: first impressions

premise of not having yet been able to shoot well, just arrived I found some resemblance to Amsterdam, the houses, the lanes for trams at grade, a lot of people that could very well invested in bike lanes if you walk towards them ... But then gradually the differences catches your eye. Let's say that we are in a typical northern European cities, through efficient and accurate (there are also several night buses that go on all night), all is well cared for gardens, parks, flower beds, etc ... But let

life night ... here are surely many more "dark" and / or "punk" than here, but all people quiet, sure we would do all another effect. We went dancing twice, and so far no kind of selection at the entrance, strange stories of lists or pain in the ass what happens to us because you show no girls in the room ... because we all as kids we would have many problems ... Definitely Mine is a partial view, having seen only three seats, but I liked going out, I had the impression that more people go to these places to really dance, and not from us that you go just to cool the and show that you know the pr and then you can enter without a tail ... Here you can see places where people who want to enter into no problems, pays the who has to pay and simply puts on dancing. I hope not to be immediately denied in the future releases ... Prices? Difficult to compare with ours, surely the beer is much cheaper (1 euro in the bars off, up to 2 spaces), the super spirits cost about half as much to us, but the quantities are much smaller and with lots of ice, and then virtually have no effect.

do not know if it is better or worse, but I have seen people drunk very little, and so far even though Stewart was drunk, I would say that it seems to work! For example, I've got a whiskey-coke which cost me only 2.50, but I did no effect. Maybe you could try to do here too, I do not know results were ...

Werder Bremen

I close this first installment of Bremen, Bremen talking of course! More than anything, as evidenced by a couple of pictures, I'll tell you that on Sunday, C. and her roommate went to the day of Werder.

What is? In practice, it is a day that is held each year in which there is a workout in the morning and then opened to the public throughout the day players are available for photos / autographs, etc ... Everything is organized around the stadium, with a lot of stand giving food, gifts and gadgets sell merchandising material.

We obviously we missed training because was 9.30 in the morning and it was unthinkable, we also dropped autographs and photos with players not only because they do not deem of vital importance, but because you had to queue mileage ... (tidy, unbelievable for us Italians !!!). But we have turned to the stands, catching a few gadgets here and there.

I must say that it's really a beautiful thing! But when you wake the hell our society doing something similar? There was a lot of people, all of the team with material of all kinds, not just the traditional hats and scarves, but also bags of different models, walking shoes, shirts ... And then all calm and serene, intent to pass a pleasant day and that's it, a lot of children, families ... A different world, really, It's time we wake up also in our country ...

Well, with these reflections, in which there would be a good hated "meditate, people, meditate ... "I'm terrible, I can even say goodbye. I send you greetings from Germany this cold, while you bastard / and enjoy the sun and the heat of the beautiful country ... (the cheese, of course).

A hug!
