Lorenzo Lotto (melancoly) and Merlot Negroamaro

I saw today at the Quirinale, the exhibition of Lorenzo Lotto. I know him by reputation and always remember the wonder of inlaid choir in Bergamo, but other than that, its size surprised me deeply. Character melancholy and lonely, provincial and decided. An incredible use of colors (red and blue crazy) and some anticipation that I never imagined Caravaggio. And then, a picture depicting the shadow of God: I do not think I've ever seen a picture with God's Allegories and iconography are amazing (the periwinkle me excited). In short, it is worth a long journey for this show. The paintings, with few exceptions, were very well lit.
